Here in the Kid Zone we believe kids are a gift from God, a gift that we cherish and enjoy. They are funny, loving, balls of energy who God loves and has called us to love, teach and serve. So, in the Kid Zone we want children to:

know they are loved and valuable.

become worshipers of Jesus.

know and live by the Word of God.

walk out their faith through the help of the Holy Spirit.

share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

To meet these objectives we use a variety of formats, from small groups to large group Celebrations.

Kid Zone Celebrations: Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Nursery:

A Cheery, clean and well-staffed nursery is ready for your special little one at every Celebration Service for newborn through age 2-1/2. We utilize Gospel Light's curriculum for toddlers.

Preschool and Kindergarten:

Provide a loving active environment for our 2-1/2 year olds through Kindergarten. Children will experience God's love first hand through teacher-student interaction, stories, crafts, activity-play centers and worship.

1st through 6th Grade:

Age-appropriate classes utilize learning centers, stories, crafts, dramatic play, worship and active participation to bring children closer to our Savior Jesus Christ.

WILD & WACKY WEDNESDAYS
Wednesday nights- 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

WILD & WACKY WEDNESDAYS runs September through May for ages 2 years to 6th grade. Kids learn about Jesus through Hands-on, creative fun, outreach events and direct personal application of how Jesus lived. Added to the fun are our special events and field trips.
 

Kid Zone Staff is made up of paid staff and our wonderful volunteers. Our Children's Ministries Director is Jenifer Milbauer, herself a product of NewHeart Children's Ministries, as she has been a part of our church since she was 2 years old!
